Skipping Records Skipping

is an installation of new ceramic work by Andy Kingston. What a delight to have in the gallery! It marks a shift from Andy's vessel making of the past to new object making that is flooded with colour and energy and his trademark strong graphics...

Lynn Kelly's (a different land) is on now...

The very lovely and talented Lynn Kelly after the opening of her exhibition (a different land) on now @ AVID.
This amazing body of work was produced by Lynn after a two month period of work at the end of 2014 as the Auckland Council's regional parks artist in residence at Scandretts Bay in Auckland.

A fantastic time last Saturday for the opening...

...of Breakfast at AVID, featuring some amazing work by 26 of our AVID artists and Penumbra Antumbra, an installation of exciting, new contemporary jewellery by Becky Bliss and Kelly McDonald.

Many thanks to all our artists who contributed such special work and to all our loyal clients and friends who made it a really enjoyable occasion.

Both exhibitions run until the 21st February so there's still plenty of time to pop in and see some wonderfully creative art work.
