shoes and ships and sealing wax...

Our title is taken from the poem, The Walrus and The Carpenter by Lewis Carroll:

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

This is a delightfully eclectic show that does talk of many things...with artists Bronwynne Cornish, Giles Speeden and Mark Mitchell.

Debbie Adamson's show is up!

Black Work is a small show by Debbie Adamson that further explores the process of making and material. The works are rhythmic, textured botanical studies in cut and carved rubber. These exquisite, statement pieces are on exhibition @ AVID until the 24th June.
